According to Peter Limmer, the latest high tech petroleum based treatments are not the way to go because they break down the leather and shorten the saddle or leather boot's useful life. Peter developed this natural leather treatment that would not over-soften or break down leather over the years. It contains natural hydrocarbons, lanolin, silicone, oils, and a just little white camphor oil. That camphor oil was added because Peter's dog tried to eat the original mix, plus camphor oil smells nice.
Works just as well on a Brooks saddle or any other fine leather saddle, as it does on Velo Orange's own leather saddles.
